From August 24-25, 2012, China’s Premier Wen Jiabao came to Guangdong to conduct a research on the current economic trends especially concerning external demands stabilizing and trade structure upgrading. Yizumi was one of the stops of Premier Wen’s visit.

Premier Wen, accompanied by dignitaries in provincial and municipal levels, arrived at Yizumi in the afternoon and received warm welcome. Yizumi’s Managing Director Mr. Richard Yan first introduced the company’s overall conditions. The introduction and sample precision products made by Yizumi’s machines interested Premier Wen and he took a close look at them. Guided by Yizumi’s representatives, Premier Wen then visited the workshops and had conversations with the workers there, caring about their jobs, feelings about the jobs and work conditions. Then the delegation came to a 2000-ton die casting machine which was made based on advanced technology of HPM. Mr. Richard Yan told Wen about Yizumi’s purchase of HPM’s intellectual property and the business conditions of the new subsidiary. Knowing Yizumi’s successful overseas acquisition and the growing sales, Wen smiled and nodded, and recognized Yizumi’s innovation and international strategy of “going out”.

During the visit, Premier Wen also communicated with Yizumi’s leaders about the company’s products, manufacturing, staff training, export conditions and future plan. At sight of the slogan of Yizumi—“We walk alongside the world”, Premier Wen was inspired and shared his thoughts with people around. He said that it was not easy to facilitate Chinese machinery technology keeping pace with the world. But without strong backup of advanced technology, the slogan would be nonsense and the company would lag behind in fierce competition. Wen expressed his confidence in Yizumi’s strength and encouraged Yizumi people to realize more technical innovation so that the company would not just keep pace with the world, but also stand out and take the lead in the world’s machinery industry.
