I hope this sports meeting will remind you that sports are an indispensable source to happy work and happy life.” said Yizumi’s Managing Director Richard Yan at the closing ceremony of Yizumi QBQ Sports Meeting. 

In the sky of Yi Ge Sports Park were floating streams of colored smoke and balloons; people in parade formation were in high spirits; and the sports park were in warm exciting atmosphere. That was a scene of the opening ceremony of the 3rd Yizumi QBQ Sports Meeting which started on November 23 and lasted six workdays.

Every year in November, Yizumi holds a sports meeting which enables employees to relax and enjoy doing sports while working hard. Events of the sports meeting are group-oriented and expected to promote team building and solidarity. Yizumi QBQ Sports Meeting 2013, themed “Happy Sports”, is upgraded in event setting and organization and welcomes more active participants. There are eight events in total, including the newly established badminton team competition and team walking race. According to statistics, 1395 people take part in eight events. Many middle and senior managers also join in the events to compete for champions together with their colleagues. For example, General Manager of Die Casting Machine Division Gao Chao participates in six events and General Manager of Injection Molding Machine Division takes part in five events. Apart from sportsmanship, a sixty-man crew who work for the sports meeting and their spirit of giving and taking responsibility should also be noteworthy and respected.

Next year, the 4th QBQ sports meeting will face some challenges, for example, how to organize Yizumi’s employees working in two different factories to participate in the games. However, with the experience of organizing three QBQ sports meetings, the needs of “happy sports” and the support of team culture, QBQ sports meeting will continue and expand.
