Shunde Office for Science & Technology Awards recently issued “Decision on Science and Technology Awards 2012”, declaring that the project “YL-AT1800L rubber injection molding machine for composite insulator” developed by Yizumi Rubber Machinery Co., Ltd. received the second prize.

As silicon rubber is difficult to process, the award-winning project adopts “long pitch and small L/D ratio” screw design, avoiding burn marks and air within the rubber and improving production efficiency. This rubber injection molding machine includes an upper-cylinder type clamping system designed for molding composite insulator and a fully-open feeding port. Based on multi-point mold filling, dual proportional closed loop control and other technologies, this rubber injection molding machine has advantages of low work table, easy material feeding, immobile core during clamping, high passing rate of rubber parts and low energy consumption. Obtaining a patent for invention and four utility-model patents, this innovative project becomes technologically leading among domestic counterparts.
