Delegates of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and officials from provincial and municipal counterparts visited Yizumi and other representative companies to conduct a research on the implementation of “No. 8 Document of General Office of the State Council”. This document contains a number of measures, including improving the mechanism of leading companies to increase investment in innovation, supporting companies to establish R&D organization, putting more efforts in developing small and medium sized businesses and optimizing fiscal and taxation policies to support innovation of companies. Purpose of the research is to confirm whether there is difficulty in the process of implementing the policies which empower the companies to become the mainstay of innovation system and promote the development of more innovative private enterprises.  

The delegates paid a visit to Yizumi in the morning and gained insight into the status of Yizumi’s innovation through visiting the workshop and having a meeting with Yizumi’s leaders, including CEO Richard Yan and Deputy Managing Director James Zhang. Mr. Richard Yan said in the meeting that to take a share of the overseas market, Yizumi must improve its overall strength and technology must be the critical breakthrough in this process. Therefore, Yizumi constantly increases the investment in R&D to introduce foreign advance technology and invites domestic universities for cooperative scientific research. At the same time, Yizumi establishes overseas technical service center and recruits top talents to facilitate technical innovation.

Huang Rong, head of the delegates, fully recognizes Yizumi’s innovation and paid great attention to the policy suggestion put forward by Yizumi and other the enterprises. He said that the government attaches great importance to the development of private economy and the next key step is to motivate private investment. “We have to be patient and further motivate companies to develop real economy by promoting the implementation of current policies and overcome the difficulty”, added Huang Rong. He said that the delegates will sort out suggestions from Shunde’s companies and reflect the difficulties in policy implementation, with the aim of improving the technical innovation system and establishing a favorable environment for technical innovation of companies.
