World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) is celebrated every 14th of June and the theme of this year’s campaign is “Safe blood for saving mothers”.

On the morning of June 13, an event named “Great Love at Yizumi” and planned by Shunde Health and Family Planning Bureau, Shunde Red Cross, Shunde TV and other organizations was held at Yizumi to mark WBDD 2014.

After the opening ceremony, Vice Director of Shunde Health and Family Planning Bureau Li Ziqing and Yizumi CEO Assistant Zeng Jihua respectively addressed the event. Li Ziqing also presented a plaque to Yizumi CEO Richard Yan.

Before the event, many Yizumi’s staff members voluntarily had registered to donate blood. Unpaid blood donation is life-long glorious, life-saving, and selfless contribution to public undertakings. Donors and people who support and are concerned about voluntary blood donation should receive respect and love from society. Yizumi was honored to be one of the organizers of the event, as the Company hoped to appeal to more people to be a blood donor by action. As more people give blood, there will be more love that is great enough to raise hope.
