China Midwest International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition 2014 (CMI-PLAS 2014) opened on September 18 at Chongqing International Expo Center. With 23000 sqm of exhibition space, this 4-day trade fair was a showcase for solutions of the whole plastic and rubber industry chain, covering production equipment, auxiliary equipment and accessories, raw materials and plastic products, molds and parts.

Though CMI-PLAS was held for the first time, it drew hundreds of major companies of the industry, including Haitian and Yizumi, and was supported by overseas associations related to plastic industry, such as SPI, Assocomaplast, BPF and MPMA.

Yizumi attached importance to the market in western China and participated in this event as an exhibitor, showing three market-oriented machines, including a UN1000DP two-platen injection molding machine as one of the highlights of all exhibits.

Tailored for the auto parts and other deep-cavity parts industries, Yizumi’s two-platen injection molding machine is benchmarked against German technology and designed based on European standards. The machine acquires five national patents and is characterized by large mold opening force, small footprint, excellent guide of linear injection unit support, small injection resistance, precise control and independently detachable barrel assembly, delivering benefits of high efficiency, precision, energy saving and safety. Yizumi’s two-platen injection molding machine has been very popular at launch and successfully helped customers produce auto parts such as headlights, grilles and door panels. During the show, Yizumi had a live demonstration of producing large automobile door panels with an automated work cell.

Yizumi also displayed a specific injection molding machine, a model of SJ series, which is designed for high-end precision applications in mobile phone accessories, electronics, medical consumables and optical industries. The machine has outstanding performance in product repeatability, plasticizing rate, power consumption, noise and other technical parameters. At Yizumi’s booth, this injection molding machine manufactured plastic mobile phone cases to show its high precision.

Another exhibit of Yizumi is YL-V220L rubber injection molding machine which is suitable for producing automotive parts, precision seals and various rubber parts. This machine is based on the design concept of European machines and adopts advanced “first in, first out” injection system and fixed three-cylinder-balanced injection unit, showing advantages of high precision, stable performance and safe operation.

Thanks to the outstanding exhibited machines, Yizumi’s booth had attracted numerous visitors throughout CMI-PLAS 2014.
