The 24th International Istanbul Plastics Industry Fair (PLAST EURASIA 2014) was held in Tuyap Fair Convention & Congress Center from 4-7 December 2014. As one of the exhibitors, Yizumi showed the innovative PAC series high-speed injection molding system for packaging that attracted a large number of customers from Turkey and other European countries.
PLAST EURASIA, a UFI certified annual event that was first held in 1994, is organized by Tüyap, in cooperation with PAGEV - Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation. As the only professional trade fair for plastics industry in Turkey and an influential international exhibition, PLAST EURASIA became the business platform promoting the transaction of plastic and rubber products, including the plastic machinery in Turkey and surrounding regions.
With an exhibition area of 90,000 square meters, PLAST EURASIA 2014, a showcase for the latest products and technological achievements, attracted 1,078 exhibitors and 40,383 professional visitors from 93 countries. Statistics show that exhibitors from the plastics machinery industry, plastic raw materials industry, rubber industry, packaging industry and mold industry respectively take up 45%, 25.6%, 9.4%, 7.3% and 5.2%; and Turkish visitors account for 86.77% of the audience.
Working closely with the Turkish agent, Yizumi took part in PLAST EURASIA 2014 for the sixth time and displayed the latest PAC300 injection molding machine for packaging that functioned with a high-speed servo robot to demonstrate fully automated production of 750ml fast food containers with a four-cavity mold. The machine was running smoothly at high speed, with cycle time (including take-out) of 5.6 seconds only. The high-quality molded parts drew the attention of visitors and many of them inquired about the machine and asked for product catalogs, while some old customers were discussing business cooperation with Yizumi’s agent. During the four-day exhibition, Yizumi’s staff received numerous customers who were interested in the automated production demonstrated at the booth and they also patiently presented the advantages of the machine to customers.
PLAST EURASIA 2014 has been over but Yizumi will continue moving forward in the course of globalization. As the Turkish plastics market is growing steadily, Yizumi is planning to build its own showroom in Turkey so that more customers can directly experience Yizumi’s service and see the precision and high-efficiency of Yizumi’s machines. “We endeavor to facilitate Chinese machine technology keeping pace with the world and provide global clients with better investment return and customer experience” is the aim of Yizumi, and the company will apply more new technologies to the equipment manufacturing industry and launch more new machines in the future.
