Four-day FENAF2011 (the 14th Latin-American Foundry Fair) held by ABIFA (Brazilian Foundry Association) opened on October 4, 2011 in EXPO CENTER NORTE in San Paulo, Brazil. This biennial trade show attracted about 300 exhibitors from Brazil and other countries including China, Italy, America, Germany and India.
As a leading die casting machine manufacturer in China, Yizumi took part in FENAF 2011 with full preparation. Since 2009, Yizumi has endeavored to exploit overseas market and made noticeable achievement with advanced technology, outstanding machine quality and effective service. Now Yizumi die casting machine have been sold to 15 countries with fast developing die casting industry, including India, Brazil, Thailand, Iran, Pakistan, Korea, Poland, Russia, Vietnam, Ukraine and Turkey. As a member of the BRICs, Brazil is one of the most important markets that Yizumi pays attention to. In 2010, Yizumi began to develop Brazilian market and appointed local sales and service agent to provide excellent service. With over one-year unremitting efforts and cooperation with the agent, Yizumi successfully developed nearly ten customers. Yizumi’s die casing machines obtained affirmation from customers after a period of service time and rose in Brazilian market. FENAF 2011 was the first Brazilian foundry fair that Yizumi took part in, which was also the first time that Yizumi had face-to-face communication with Brazilian customers and an important opportunity to display the brilliance of Yizumi to Brazilian foundry. Therefore, General Manager of Die Casting Machine Division Li Yejun in person led two colleagues to participate in the fair.
In FENAF 2011, Yizumi displayed a 400-ton cold chamber die casting machine and a 90-ton hot chamber machine. The smart appearance and smooth motion of the machines drew the attention of customers and won their confidence. In the third day of the fair, these two machines were sold. We not only got orders in the exhibition but also received many product inquiries. As nearly half of the exhibitors were castings manufacturers and most of the visors were professionals in foundry, FENAF 2011 was of high value to Yizumi. It was an opportunity to promote Yizumi and extend customer resources. Through visiting the casings manufacturers who were also the exhibitors in this fair, General Manager Li Yejun and Yizumi’s local agent knew more about the customer demand and local casting industry. General Manger Mrs. Li also had pleasant talks with customers visiting Yizumi’s stand to know about the condition of Yizumi machines in use, customers’ comments on Yizumi and their future development plans. Information from the talks was important reference and basis for Yizumi’s development of Brazilian market.
Apart from visiting customers, General Manager Li Yejun met Standing Director and General Secretary of China Foundry Association Mr. Zhang Libo, Brazilian Foundry Association Director Mr. Devanir Brichesi and General Secretary Mr. Roberto Joao De Deus. General manager Mrs. Li introduced the latest development of her company and the exploitation of Brazilian market, and then she invited the director and general secretary of Brazilian Foundry Association to visit Yizumi. Later general manager Mrs. Li attended the banquet hosted by Brazilian Foundry Association and met friends from Chinese machinery industry.
Though FENAF 2011 lasted only four days, Yizumi met new friends of the same trade and acquired lots of valuable information. After the fair, General Manager Li Yejun and the local agent continued to visit another two customers to strengthen partnership. We believed that Yizumi’s development of Brazilian market would be better with the participation in FENAF 2011.
