Yizumi Trade Union was officially established on August 23, 2011. Deputy President of Shunde Federation of Trade Unions Mrs. Ye Yuming, President of Ronggui Federation of Trade Unions Chen Ruqiang, other leader representatives of trade union federations at district and town levels together with about 700 Yizumi employee representatives attended the founding conference of Yiuzmi Trade Union.

The founding conference began at 4 pm. At first, Yizumi Managing Director Richard Yan addressed the convention. He appreciated the staff members who paid efforts for the preparation for this convention, and hoped that Yizumi Trade Union should place the fundamental interest of the overwhelming majority of the employees to promote the harmonious development of the corporate culture. Yizumi Trade Union was expected to coordinate the development of company and employees and work hard for the goal of Yizumi becoming an honorable enterprise with excellent management and culture.

The address of the managing director was endorsed by the staff members and brought the founding conference to climax. Then 18 Yizumi Trade Union candidates gave their election speeches in turn. Their confidence and witty remarks won rounds of warm applause. Afterwards, two rounds of direct voting began. The trade union president and deputy president were elected by the first round of voting and 12 trade union members were elected by the next round of voting. 

Yizumi was the first enterprise that established its trade union by direct voting with the most voters in Shunde. Therefore the founding conference of Yizumi Trade Union drew the attention of federation of Trade Unions at different levels. While preparing for the founding conference of trade union, Yizumi received a lot of valuable suggestions from federation of trade unions of higher levels. With an open, fair and equitable election system, all elected members of Yizumi Trade Union represented the will of voters. After all, the trade union was an energetic team consisting of staff members with different backgrounds: some were experienced; some were young and courageous; some were grass-roots level and some were medium-level managerial personnel. It was hoped that Yizumi Trade Union was full of vitality with the innovation and enterprising spirit.
