HPM NA Exhibits New Machine in Die Casting Congress & Exposition 2012

As the corporate member of the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA), HPM North America Corporation took part in Die Casting Congress & Exposition October 8-10, 2012 in Indianapolis, United States.

As North America’s largest event exclusive to die casting industry and held by NADCA, Die Casting Congress & Exposition 2012 featured about 200 exhibitors and presented the latest technology and products in the industry. In this trade show, HPM NA exhibited a 400-ton real time die casting machine which was specially made for a Canadian customer. For convenient use and easy maintenance, the mechanical components were based on English units and machined in Yizumi’s Shunde headquartered. The machine was also equipped with special devices at the customer’s request such as proportional clamping and safety PLC.

In the trade show, HPM NA got help from its parent company—Yizumi and two sides together received numerous visitors who were impressed by the new image of HPM. Old customers of HPM in particular were glad to see their former business partner made a fresh start in machinery industry. They hoped that HPM NA would provide services and parts for their HPM die casting machine, and at the same time they showed great interest in the new high-performance machines. An influential former HPM customer said that HPM die casting machine was the most durable compared with the other equipment that he had. An HPM machine made in 1967 is still in use in GE’s factory near Chicago.
