Yizumi held the first media open house focusing on injection molding machine sector on April 12 at its headquarters, with the attendance of 22 friends from 12 media firms.
The year 2012 marked Yizumi’s 10th anniversary. During the past decade, Yizumi maintained a steady pace of healthy growth even in rough economic situations and received a large number of honors such as China Well-known Trademark, China Injection Molding Industry’s Top 10 Enterprise, China Plastics Machinery Industry’s 20 Strongest Enterprise, Shunde Government Award for Outstanding Quality and Star of Technical Innovation.
In addition to customers, suppliers and employees, friends from the media also considerably contributed to Yizumi’s achievements in the past decade. Therefore, Yizumi hosted a media open house that was themed on “appreciation and sharing” and where friends from the media got together and know more about Yizumi.

As the beginning of one-day open house, the guests signed on the “apples” that symbolized the fruits of Yizumi’s ten-year efforts and put them on a mature “tree” that stood for Yizumi. The significance of this part is that the guests witness development of Yizumi and share the joy of growth.
The guests then visited Yizumi’s workshops. Since the campaign of cultivating gemba force was launched in 2009, Yizumi standardized its workshops, raised monthly output of 550 units from 180 units within a year and enhanced the product quality at the same time.
Coming back from the workshops, the guests attended a sharing session in the meeting room. First was a presentation on Yizumi’s production scale by CEO Richard Yan. He analyzed the reasons why Yizumi slowed down the growth in recent years and indicated that constraint of production capacity was a major problem besides the external factors. He reported the progress of the construction of Yizumi’s two new factories in Wusha and Wujiang and said that the operation of new plants would solve the problem of limited capacity, which would facilitate Yizumi’s second take-off.
Yizumi knows that expansion of the production scale is far from enough since blind overexpansion brings no direct economic benefits. What the company needs are detailed plans for future and advanced management. Yizumi arranged a presentation on cultivating gemba force for the sharing session so as to disclose the key to Yizumi’s management.
Since the campaign of cultivating gemba force began in 2010, Yizumi people have been consistently and seriously improving their workplace, work efficiency, management and every detail in daily work.
Yizumi has succeeded in some reforms and made pleasant changes. One thing not changed is that Yizumi is always dedicated to improving product quality and making technical innovations. The third part of the sharing session presented Yizumi’s latest products and technology to the guests.
In the afternoon, friends from the media attended the media conference. They first heard the presentation on Yizumi’s corporate culture to know more about Yizumi from spiritual aspects. The next part was a face-to-face in-depth interview, in which the participants could communicate with Yizumi’s senior executives on Yizumi’s marketing strategy, products, technology, management and future plan. Yizumi specially invited Mr. Xu Jian, Editor-in-chief of Ju Feng Plastic, as the guest host of the interview.
