On May 29, Yizumi reached The 2nd Foshan Charitable Project Contest Final and formed a partnership with Daliang Charity Federation, contributing 150 thousand yuan to support its Destitute Single-parent Family Aid Project.

In the final, 28 charitable projects successfully reached cooperation agreements with 18 companies, receiving funds worth 2.85 million yuan in total. As for the reason why Yizumi chose Destitute Single-parent Family Aid Project, the company’s CEO Assistant Zeng Jihua explained: “Last year, we attended the 1st Foshan Charitable Project Contest and financed a project helping the parents of children who got cancer. We then set up a volunteer team to better serve this charitable project. This year, based on the previous idea, we hope to help the vulnerable groups enjoy the fruit of social development and get rid of economic and mental stress. We believe this is the responsibility we should take and we hope to get involved in charity work from things and people in daily life.”

Huang Haitang, Deputy Secretary General of Daliang Charity Federation, indicated that his organization had lifted 80 destitute single-parent families out of poverty through painstaking efforts, but over 100 families were still in urgent need of aid. With the financial support from Yizumi, these poor families would get individual assistance from the charity federation to improve their life and let their children finish school.
