In June 2013, Yizumi took part in Metallurgy-Litmash 2013 in Russia with the company’s Russian agent ALLIANCE and mold manufacturer XINGYUAN Mold.
This annual exhibition was held at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow with 8 pavilions in total. Exhibitors were mainly made up of suppliers related to the oil gas technology and equipment such as exploration equipment, pouring forming equipment and equipment for high pressure casting. As the most professional trade fair related to die casting industry in Russia, this exhibition also attracted a large number of well-known die casting equipment manufacturers including BUHLER, FRECH and IDRA. During the debut appearance in the trade show, Yizumi successfully drew the attention of many visitors and approached some customers about business cooperation.
Unlike traditional die castings manufacturing countries such as China, India and Brazil whose major products are motorcycle and vehicle parts, Russia’s die casting industry does not have too much to do with automotive industry because local automakers neither produce nor purchase components locally. They usually import auto parts and then finish the assembly procedures in their factories. Though Russian die casting market is not as flourishing as others, it is immune to the market shrinkage caused by economic recession. Russia’s continued economic growth in recent years has stimulated domestic demands for 3C products, household appliances (radiators mainly), streetlights and promoted the development of die casting industry in some degree. European and Japanese die casting machines are traditionally popular in Russia, but Chinese machines are acquiring increasing market shares because of constant improving technology and competitive price.
With tireless efforts, Yizumi’s die casting machines sell well in Russia and find favour with more customers. Earlier this year, Yizumi appointed ALLIANCE as its Russian agent. Partnership between Yizumi and ALLIANCE will help break language barriers, provide better and faster local services for more customers and lay a foundation to Yizumi’s development in Russian market.
There are claims that Volkswagen plans to set up a factory in Russia. If it is true, Russia’s die casting industry will be possibly stimulated and play a more important role in the future. Yizumi, as a leading equipment supplier in China, will take the very opportunity to further develop the Russian die casting market at that time.
