Yizumi HPM North America Corporation sells the first Chinese-made heavy-duty die casting machine

Four months after establishment, HPM North America Corporation won an order from Orlick, a Canadian company, for two 2000-ton HPM die casting machines with delivery time of eight months.

Our customer Orlick is a leader in the high pressure die cast industry in Canada, specializing in high pressure aluminum die-casting and precision machining. Orlick serves Tier 1 customers such as MAGNA, HONDA, GATES and NSK STEERING and provides products including engine covers, oil pans and water pump housings, etc. All 40 die casting machines from 600 to 1600 tons of Orlick are made by former HPM.

In early 2011, Orlick needed new die casting machines to expand capacity as it received HONDA's oral announcement of adding orders. Due to the unfortunate bankruptcy of former HPM at that time, Orlick had no choice but to contact other die casting machine manufacturers. In May, at the news of Yizumi buying the intellectual property of HPM, Orlick General Manager Mr. Knowles immediately contacted this Chinese company. Later, senior leaders of HPM North America Corporation, subsidiary of Yizumi, had a business talk with their Canadian counterparts and introduced their company and Yizumi. Impressed by Yizumi's annual capacity of 550 die casting machines and nearly 3000 injection molding machines, as well as powerful CNC machines, Mr. Knowles paid a one-week visit to Yizumi with the company of senior leaders of HPM North America. In Yizumi's headquarters, Mr. Knowles heard the report on the strategic plan of Yizumi's future development and then visited the workshops. Later, he flied to Chongqing to see the on-site use of Yizumi's heavy-duty die casting machines (over 1000 tons). Mr. Knowles was interested in the real-time control servo valve oil supply system of Yizumi die casting machines (over 2500 tons), and believed that system could reduce the problems of servo valves and pollution of hydraulic oil. Soon after the return to Canada, Mr. Knowles invited Yizumi Managing Director Mr. Richard Yan to visit Orlick and establish a win-win partnership. Finally on November 21, Mr. Knowles ordered two 2000-ton HPM die casting machines from HPM North America.

Gaining an order from old customer within 4 months since establishment prove that HPM die casting machines with the characteristics of stable quality and high performance-cost ratio deeply impress the customers.  As Mr. Braley, boss of Orlick, says, "HPM Die casting machines are powerful, durable, easy to operate and maintain."  Meanwhile, it is verified that the new operation pattern of HPM North America—adopting technology of former HPM for R&D in the U.S. to better understand needs of North American customers, while depending on Yizumi's strong manufacturing and machining capability to increase the competitiveness of the machines—really works. The first order of HPM North America has attracted attention of the global die casting industry. Even the president of BUHLER voluntarily talked about this news when meeting Yizumi's managing director. For Yizumi and its subsidiary, HPM North America, this order is also important progress in the course of globalization.
